We welcome you as our clients and your pets as our patients. The purpose of our animal hospital is to provide you with quality, professional medical services in a loving and caring environment. We strive to satisfy you in all aspects of the care and service provided for your pets. Please contact our hospital by phone or letter if there is a special need or concern. We hope to be able to resolve the matter promptly.

Surgery

Our routine surgeries are performed Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5 pm. Admission time is from 7:45 am to 8:15 am, or the night prior to surgery before 8:00 pm. Emergency surgeries are performed as needed 7 days a week. Laser surgery is available upon request.

Laboratory

Because of our well-equipped laboratory, most tests can be done promptly, thus avoiding response and mail delays from the outside laboratories. This way we can treat your pet faster and more accurately.

Visiting Hours

In some cases it may be desirable for you to visit your pet while a patient in our hospital. Normal visiting hours are:

  • Mon – Fri: 12:00 pm – 7 pm
  • Sat – Sun: 12:00 pm – 3 pm

Check with your doctor to see if a visit would be helpful to your pet. There are no visiting hours for isolation ward cases.

Computer

Our hospital is computerized to better enable us to keep complete and accurate history records on your pets. Our most recent update includes a picture of your pet for easy identification purposes.

Boarding

Our boarding space is very limited and is only available for active clients. We recommend you make reservations well in advance. Medications such as insulin, heartworm medicine, etc. should be brought with you so it can be administered while your pet is boarding. Pets must have a current comprehensive physical examination, vaccination status, heartworm check, and feline leukemia & FIV testing.

Fees and Payments

We accept cash, checks, MasterCard, Visa, Discover and Debit. Charges for professional services are to be paid at time of services. We have tried to set our fees fairly for our clients without ever jeopardizing the high quality and up-to-date medicine our hospital practices. Estimates are available for most anticipated medical and surgical care and will be presented by the staff who will answer any questions concerning your fees. For your convenience, the cost of your pet’s care can be checked at any time during his or her stay.

Digital X Ray

Once the x-ray is acquired, the image is available immediately for review. The image is also able to be copied to a CD or sent via email to a referral facility. Since the images are stored on the computer, it also helps us to be more environmentally safe.

Telephone Calls

All clients are encouraged to call with any questions they have about their pet. However, it is unfair to our clients to leave them in the middle of an examination to answer a phone call. The office staff has been trained to answer many of your questions. They will leave a message for the doctor who will return your call at their earliest opportunity. However, should you have a very sick pet, stress this to the staff so they can give you an immediate appointment. If the doctor does not return your call within a reasonable amount of time, please feel free to call again.

Discharge Hours

Medical and surgical patient discharge hours are Monday to Friday from 12:00 pm to 7 pm; as well as, Saturday and Sunday from 11 am to 3 pm.

Yearly Office Visits

Preventive health care and comprehensive physical examinations are important for your pet’s health. Your pet can be brought up-to-date on immunizations, and future health problems may be recognized before they become severe or life threatening. It is also a time for the doctor to answer any questions you might have.
