Dr. Rebecca Coccia is from Rowley, Massachusetts where she grew up in a home constantly filled with all kinds of animals from turtles to guinea pigs to dogs. She has always had a passion for working with animals. Rebecca graduated from the University of New Hampshire with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology and minors in Animal Behavior and Wildlife and Conservation Biology. She entered the veterinary field as a veterinary assistant prior to applying for veterinary school and graduated from Tufts Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She has a passion for exotic species, particularly guinea pigs, and enjoys learning as much as she can about the many different species that encompass this niche of veterinary medicine. Rebecca loves to meet new clients and work with them to ensure their pets live long and healthy lives.
In her free time, Rebecca can be found adventuring with her two dogs, Toby and Gnocchi and her husband. She also loves to spend her mornings relaxing with a cup of coffee and her guinea pig, Muffin. Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends and loves to explore and take part in all of the activities and experiences the Lehigh Valley has to offer.
