We have a well-equipped laboratory so that most tests can be done promptly, thus avoiding response and mail delays from outside laboratories. We can treat your pets faster and more accurately, with the state of the art equipment we have on the premises.
Diane SchuetteLaboratory Director
Diane grew up on a farm in Minnesota. After graduation from High School, she attended the Medical Institute of Minnesota and worked for several years in a small animal and a mixed (large and small) animal practice.
In December of 1986, she packed her belongings and headed east to work at the WVMC. Twenty three years ago she took over the responsibility of running our in house laboratory.
Over the years, Diane has done volunteer work teaching Red Cross pet first aid courses, and helping the local rabies clinics. Every February for the past thirteen years, she heads up to Alaska to volunteer for the Iditarod Dog Sled Race. Diane resides in Lehighton and shares her home with Rambo, Buddy Bear and Lucy, her feline roommates. She enjoys motorcycle riding, photography, reading and working on her house and gardens.
